Shared Goals

Members of the Sita Group share a passion for scientific discovery in the areas of synthetic inorganic, organic, organometallic, polymer and materials chemistry.  We seek to establish and advance new fundamental knowledge that can have beneficial impact on society in the near term (i.e. within our lifetimes).  These shared goals require the coupling of new scientific breakthroughs with the aim of developing commercially-relevant and scalable applications.  Finally, all of us are committed to the education and training of future scientists, including individuals from the K-12 levels, undergraduate and graduate students, and postdoctoral associates.  We seek new group members who desire the skills and have the motivation to make a positive difference in the world through careers within the chemical industry, academic institutions, government labs, start-up companies, and public policy, to name a few.
